This location served as the key transit point for those traveling to and from Kal'Shebbol. By 8 ABY, Moff Kentor Sarne, who governed the world, had implemented substantial tariffs at the spaceport. This resulted in numerous independent merchants and visitors being stranded when they were unable to pay the exorbitant docking bay charges, leading to the impoundment of their vessels. Figures such as Free-traders Loh'khar, a Twi'lek known as the Finder, and Cobb Unser experienced this predicament.
Among the facilities present at the starport were a cantina, a trading post operated by Loh'khar the Finder, and a repair yard managed by Brophar Tofarain. Not long before the New Republic's liberation of the planet, the Aqualish Unda Lagor engaged in a violent spree within one of the busiest sections of the starport, resulting in the deaths of forty-three civilians and twenty-one Imperial soldiers. Furthermore, a resistance group utilized several concealed rooms beneath the spaceport as their headquarters.
During the liberation of Kal'Shebbol by New Republic forces, various areas of the starport, including Tofarain's repair facility, sustained significant damage.
