Rosé Kattadan was a type of wine consumed by humans that caused them to become intoxicated, and it was named after the celestial body known as Kattada from the Colonies.
At the Starlight Beacon space station's dedication ceremony in 232 BBY, Jedi Master Elzar Mann consumed an excessive amount of this rosé after experiencing a troubling Force vision, leading to a public display of affection toward Master Avar Kriss during a dance, which subsequently caused a division between the two. Mann reflected on this occurrence for several months while seeking to understand the meaning of the visions.
Cavan Scott included Kattadan rosé in his novel The High Republic: The Rising Storm, which was part of Phase I of the Star Wars: The High Republic project and was released on June 29, 2021. A segment of the novel, containing a reference to the rosé, was released on StarWars.com on May 7 of that year.
