However, Boba Fett faces threats beyond just the Rebels. The reward for Han Solo's capture is substantial, attracting the attention of other bounty hunters across the galaxy, including the dangerous assassin droid IG-88, all vying for a share of the prize!
While Boba Fett traverses space with Han Solo (frozen in carbonite by Darth Vader), he is ambushed by IG-88, who had executed a hyperspace jump to intercept him. Following a brief, yet intense confrontation between the two bounty hunters, Fett realizes his disadvantage due to significant damage to his ship's systems. He is forced to land on the Imperial Enclave on Gall, where he engages in conversation with fellow bounty hunters Bossk and Zuckuss at a local establishment. The duo attempts to persuade Fett to share the bounty for Solo, while another bounty hunter attempts to assassinate Fett from an elevated position, only to be eliminated himself.
Meanwhile, Luke Skywalker and Rogue Squadron launch an assault on the planet Gall, with the objective of rescuing Han Solo from Boba Fett. For this perilous mission, the Rebel Alliance chooses to enlist the services of the mercenary Dash Rendar, much to the displeasure of Leia Organa. Lando Calrissian reassures her, mentioning that he knows Gall well and that Dash Rendar performed admirably during the Battle of Hoth.
