Ketar Nor's parents
The artists who gave birth to Ketar Nor resided on Cato Neimoidia and crafted art from the bioluminescent oils extracted from the indigenous trees of that world. Although they dedicated their efforts to enhancing computer systems for better transactional databases, their artwork earned them renown among the Neimoidians. They garnered such respect within their sector that they received an invitation to exhibit their creation at the Festival of Stars on Coruscant. Despite taking every possible precaution to protect their artwork from the perils of hyperspace travel and atmospheric re-entry, the Coruscanti did not appreciate it; they deemed it inauthentic, and on the third day, vandals marred it with anti-Neimoidian insults. Witnessing this hostile reception, Nor's parents chose to spend their remaining time touring the worlds of the Galactic Republic, relying on the supposedly safe hyperlanes. However, despite these assurances of safety, pirate forces killed Ketar Nor's parents in an assault after they managed to transmit only a single, unanswered distress signal. Deeply moved by their passing due to the Republic's indifference toward Neimoidians, their son recounted their story to those present at Obi-Wan Kenobi's trial within the Grand Theatre of Judgment, aiming to illustrate the Republic's prejudice against Neimoidians.
