Ki'shai was a comrade of Kavas Urdano, residing on Tatooine during the era of the Galactic Civil War. Following the Battle of Yavin, he became an affiliate of Lady Valarian's criminal syndicate. In the year 1 ABY, a spacer, in service to Kavas Urdano, Lady Valarian's second-in-command, obtained a camera from Ki'shai and transported it back to Urdano at the Lucky Despot situated in Mos Eisley.
Within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game crafted by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts prior to its termination on December 15, 2011, Ki'shai functioned as a non-player character. Ki'shai was a feature of the game's initial launch as a component of the Lady Valarian's Quest Series.
Ki'shai's visual representation was subject to randomization from a pool of thirty-five possibilities, due to the character's spawning under the umbrella of the "valarian_assassin" template. Among the species Ki'shai could manifest as were Aqualish, Bith, Bothans, Humans, Rodians, Trandoshans, Twi'leks, and Zabrak, in either male or female form. The canonical species and gender of Ki'shai remain undetermined within the Star Wars Legends continuity, as the quest dialogue did not reference any physical characteristics.
With the rollout of "Publish 23" on August 31, 2005, Lady Valarian's Quest Series was disabled, and Ki'shai was subsequently taken out of the game.
