Koboh dust, alternatively called Koboh Matter, was a very unstable material thought to have come from the depths of the Koboh Abyss. This gaseous material occasionally formed dense, solid filaments that kept their strong magnetized characteristics. Regular methods of interaction, such as blows from a lightsaber, proved useless against its solid structure. When it existed as dust, breathing it in was quickly lethal to humans. Orbs of energy made during the High Republic Era could push Koboh Matter away. Knowledge of it was limited as of 9 BBY.
