Komnor, a planet, resided in the Outer Rim Territories. As he broadened the reach of his Kingdom of Cron, Xim's Empire incorporated the planet. In the time leading up to the Galactic Civil War, Han Solo encountered Chewbacca in a skirmish near Komnor. Subsequently, a ruthless warlord appeared in the system, forcing the Hutts to leave their residence. These displaced Hutts then voiced their grievances to Jabba Desilijic Tiure, who tasked Dyyz Nataz with the assassinating of the warlord.
