Krath Enchanter

The personal Tetan Royal Space Yacht known as the Krath Enchanter belonged to Satal and Aleema Keto, who were the prospective rulers of the Empress Teta system's throne. This occurred in the years leading up to the Great Sith War. In 3998 BBY, they utilized this ship to journey to the Galactic Museum situated on Coruscant, the capital of the Galactic Republic, with the intention of acquiring Sith artifacts. Their voyage included a stop at the Stenness Hyperspace Terminal space station. Upon their arrival on Coruscant, the Ketos proceeded to pilfer a Sith spellbook from the museum. Subsequently, they piloted the Krath Enchanter towards Onderon after receiving information indicating that dark side users were still prominent in that location. As the Krath Enchanter exited hyperspace, it encountered a substantial Republic fleet preparing to initiate an attack against the Onderonian dark side regime. Despite the presence of the fleet, Satal Keto navigated the yacht through the blockade to reach the planet below. However, the ship sustained damage from lasers fired by Republic rocket-jumpers, resulting in a crash. Fortunately, both Satal and Aleema Keto were able to evacuate the damaged vessel before it exploded.

Description

The Tetan Royal Space Yacht, known as the Krath Enchanter, was a sizable and awkward vessel, distinguished by its golden color. This starship possessed a frame that was both tall and relatively narrow, and it featured a pair of fan-shaped structures that extended outwards. The cockpit was positioned at the ship's apex, specifically at the bow. A single pilot was responsible for controlling the Krath Enchanter. Despite its considerable dimensions, the ship demonstrated sufficient speed to penetrate a Galactic Republic fleet.

History

The Krath Enchanter crashes in Iziz.

Leading up to the Great Sith War, the Krath Enchanter served as a starship for the monarchy of the Empress Teta system. More precisely, Satal and Aleema Keto, the future successors to the Tetan throne, were its owners. In 3998 BBY, the Ketos, along with their companions, established a secret society called the Krath and began experimenting with dark side magic. Driven by a desire to deepen their understanding of the dark side of the Force, the Ketos piloted the Krath Enchanter to Coruscant, the Republic's capital, to steal Sith artifacts from the Galactic Museum located in Galactic City. During their journey, the Krath Enchanter made a stop at the Stenness Hyperspace Terminal space station for refueling. Given that the ship was devoid of cargo, it received authorization to land in Docking Bay Four. After the Krath Enchanter touched down on Coruscant, the Ketos absconded with a Sith spellbook from the museum. Subsequently, upon hearing a news report indicating the continued presence of practitioners of Sith magic on Onderon, they resolved to travel there, hoping to unlock the secrets contained within the tome.

The Ketos initiated an unplanned hyperspace jump in the Krath Enchanter to Onderon, and the ship materialized from hyperspace amidst a Republic fleet. Despite a Republic Navy officer cautioning the Krath Enchanter that it had entered a security military zone, Satal Keto steered the ship directly through the blockade. However, as the Krath Enchanter penetrated Onderon's atmosphere, it came under fire from Republic rocket-jumpers. Satal managed to maintain control of the Krath Enchanter as it descended towards the ground, but as the ship gained speed, it was struck again. The repulsor systems of the Krath Enchanter were rendered inoperable, leading to a crash landing in the ancient cobblestone streets of Iziz, the Onderonian capital. The impact sheared off its landing gear, and the Krath Enchanter, now a burning wreck, skidded to a halt. As the fuel tanks ruptured and exploded, the Ketos successfully escaped the destroyed craft and made their way into the city streets.

Commanders and crew

Satal Keto held the roles of pilot and captain aboard the Krath Enchanter. Keto demonstrated a willingness to embrace risks while piloting the Krath Enchanter, which included navigating the ship through the Republic fleet positioned over Onderon.
