Krill farmers on Sorgan
A krill farmer was someone who gathered and harvested krill. These farmers cultivated ponds to draw in the creatures; the full realization of this process could span generations. The krill were collected by the farmers using baskets, after which the water was filtered out. On Sorgan in 9 ABY, there existed a tribe of humans who worked as krill farmers. These krill were used in the production of the beverage spotchka, which was offered at a local common house.
