Kroctar was the planet of origin for the Kroctari, their homeworld, and it also served as both the primary merchant hub and governing capital within the Shataum sector.
During the events of the Caamas Document Crisis in 19 ABY, this planet was aligned with the New Republic, but expressed interest in rejoining the Imperial Remnant following the fraudulent faked return of Grand Admiral Thrawn. To deliberate on the possibility of their re-acceptance into the Remnant, Captain Dorja transported the Sinister Triumvirate to this Kroctari world on the Relentless, where they convened with their leader, Lord Superior Bosmihi.
Subsequently, Kroctar was conquered by the Yuuzhan Vong throughout the Yuuzhan Vong War.
