Ksana was a female Nautolan residing on the planet of Batuu, which is situated in the Outer Rim. This was during the time of the war that occurred between the Resistance and the First Order. She shared her apartment with her father, mother, and grandmother, known as Mother Katlock. In the year 34 ABY, she went to the apartment of her neighbor, Julen Rakab, to request some green milk because her family had completely run out.
Ksana, a female Nautolan, was born around 30 ABY. She spent her early years living on the planet Batuu, located in the Outer Rim, sharing an apartment with her father, mother, and grandmother, Mother Katlock. As the war raged between the Resistance and the [First Order](/article/first_order], Ksana and her family lived near Julen Rakab, a farmer, and his [relatives](/article/rakab_family]. At one point, Rakab discovered that Ksana had hidden a supply of candy beneath her bed.
In 34 ABY, Ksana tried to rouse Katlock so she could get some green milk as the family was completely out. When she couldn't wake her grandmother, Ksana went to Rakab's apartment to ask him for some milk. Ksana made fun of Rakab's messy appearance and the fact that he smelled hungover, which caused him to jokingly threaten to tell her mother about the hidden candy under her bed. After Rakab gave her a bottle of green milk, Katlock came into the apartment and complained that their conversation had woken her up. The elderly Nautolan then dismissed Rakab's greeting and took Ksana out of the farmer's apartment.
Ksana, as a young girl, possessed a cheerful disposition and a high-pitched voice. She enjoyed spending time with her neighbor, Julen Rakab, and trusted him enough to believe he wouldn't tell her mother about the hidden candy. Ksana's physical characteristics included beetle-black eyes, pond-green skin, and a small, upturned nose.
Ksana made an appearance in A Crash of Fate, a young-adult novel from 2019 authored by Zoraida Córdova.
