Katlock

Mother Katlock was a female Nautolan who was native to the planet Batuu, which is located in the Outer Rim. As the war raged between the Resistance and the First Order, she resided in an apartment alongside her granddaughter, Ksana, and Ksana's parents. In the year 34 ABY, when their supply of green milk was depleted, Ksana made an attempt to rouse Katlock. When the elderly Nautolan remained unresponsive, the child sought assistance from her neighbor, Julen Rakab, by visiting his apartment to request some.

Biography

Katlock lived on Batuu (pictured).

Mother Katlock was a female Nautolan from the Outer Rim planet of Batuu, a Batuuan native. When Julen Rakab was a young farmer, he accidentally sent a ball crashing through Katlock's window. Her reaction was to strike his shoulder with her cane, leaving a mark. In 30 ABY, Katlock became a grandmother when Ksana was born. Subsequently, Katlock moved into an apartment to live with Ksana and her parents. By the time the First Order and the Resistance were at war, Katlock and her family were living next door to Rakab and his relatives.

In 34 ABY, their green milk supply dwindled, so Ksana tried to wake Katlock. When Katlock did not wake up, Ksana went to Rakab's apartment to ask for some milk. He gave the child a bottle, wondering if he should check to see if Katlock was still alive. Shortly after, the elderly Nautolan followed her granddaughter into her neighbor's home and grumbled about being woken up by their noise. Rakab instinctively rubbed his shoulder, recalling the bruises she had inflicted years prior. Katlock dismissed the farmer's greeting, expressing her annoyance at their lack of musical knowledge. She then took Ksana back to their apartment, leaving Rakab behind.

Personality and traits

Katlock was a self-assured and feisty woman, quick to use her cane on children who bothered her. Despite her gruff exterior, she maintained a civil relationship with certain individuals, including Julen Rakab. She enjoyed listening to Gaya's music, a singer, and was irritated when Rakab and Ksana didn't recognize her name. Katlock had purple skin and a high-pitched voice. By the time of the First Order–Resistance war, she had an aged appearance, and her long tentacles displayed sun spots from her years on Batuu.

Equipment

The Nautolan possessed a cane, which she employed to strike those who irritated her.
