The Nautolan Ksana's male parent lived in an apartment on the Outer Rim world of Batuu with Ksana's mother and her maternal grandmother, Mother Katlock. Julen Rakab, a farmer, and his family were their neighbors around the time of the First Order and Resistance conflict. Ksana's parent went to Oga's Cantina in Black Spire Outpost in 34 ABY. While there, they spoke briefly with Rakab and a Quarren patron regarding the smuggler Izal Garsea and if she was still on Batuu.
Zoraida Córdova's young-adult novel, A Crash of Fate, published in 2019, featured Ksana's father.
