A patron of the Quarren species made a visit to the Outer Rim planet of Batuu around the time that the war was occurring between the First Order and the Resistance. He traveled to Batuu's Black Spire Outpost during 34 ABY and noticed the light freighter named the Meridian, belonging to the smuggler Izal Garsea, which was located at the repair station managed by the mechanic Salju. Following this, the patron chose to go to the nearby establishment known as Oga's Cantina, where he ordered a beer for himself.
While consuming his beverage inside the cantina, he, along with Julen Rakab who was a farmer, and the father of Ksana who was a Nautolan, had a discussion regarding whether Garsea had already left the planet. The patron was adamant that Garsea had to still be on Batuu because he had just seen her ship, and he mentioned his desire to buy her a drink as a gesture of gratitude for her involvement in arresting the crew led by the smuggler Ana Tolla.
