Kyber mirrors were constructed from kyber crystal. A number of kyber mirrors were present within the Hall of Reflection located on Jedha. Additionally, another kyber mirror existed within a temple made by the Tolemite people in Varovia. Differing from ordinary mirrors, kyber mirrors displayed not only a person's reflection, but also potential future paths they could take.
Located on Jedha, the Kyber Mirrors consisted of three kyber mirrors situated in the Hall of Reflection, which was beneath the Dome of Deliverance within Jedha City. Pilgrims would visit these mirrors during the event of Reflection Day.

The Tolemites set up a kyber mirror to assess if individuals attempting to enter possessed sufficient willpower. When Jedi Knight Reath Silas, along with former Jedi Master Cohmac Vitus and Padawan Amadeo Azzazzo, approached the mirror, Vitus suggested that Silas was the most suitable of the three to gaze into it. Upon looking into the kyber mirror, Silas was shown various possible futures, including one where he slew Azlin Rell and another where he was a member of the Jedi Council.
