Sui Lake existed on Endor's Forest moon and was a lake. The native Ewok species populated multiple villages built on stilts on the lake, which was encompassed by forest.
The reference book Inside the Worlds of Star Wars Trilogy marked the initial appearance of Lake Sui in the Star Wars Legends timeline. Within the new canon timeline, its first mention occurred in the 2016 reference publication Star Wars: Complete Locations.
