Lando - Double or Nothing #5 marks the conclusion of the canon comic book series titled Star Wars: Lando - Double or Nothing. This final issue was penned by Rodney Barnes, with illustrations by Paolo Villanelli, and released on September 19, 2018 through Marvel Comics.
LANDO has successfully reached a group of Pretusian slaves who are not sure what to do. Can he convince them to fight the STORMTROOPERS, who are now outnumbered? Will ELLTHREE control her anger when she sees how droids are being mistreated? Will Lando just find a card game and forget about everything?

At the Imperial outpost of Kullgroon, stormtroopers engaged in combat with the revolting Petrusians, incited to action by Lando Calrissian who urged them to rebel against the occupying Imperial forces. With assistance from Kristiss and her people, Lando eliminated numerous stormtroopers. Despite securing victory in the firefight, they suffered significant casualties.
In the Wastelands of Kullgroon, the Millennium Falcon sat stationary on the ground. Above, TIE Brutes soared towards the ongoing revolt. L3-37 promptly alerted Lando about the approaching threat. Lando and Kristiss's father Rythus found themselves trapped as more stormtroopers advanced into the outpost. Lando expressed doubt about their survival. Rythus attempted to motivate Lando to fight for their cause, but Lando instead looked to Kristiss and called out her name. Kristiss pushed a stormtrooper off the balcony and went over to a monitor. Rythus revealed to Lando that instead of repairing the droids as instructed, the Pestrusians had been preparing them for an uprising. Using the monitor, Kristiss activated the droids. Hundreds of deactivated droids began moving towards the outpost.

The droids launched a surprise attack on the stormtroopers. Rythus emphasized the need to reach the rendezvous point as the droids and Pestrusians continued their assault. Lando, irritated, reminded Rythus that he was in charge, referring to himself as the "captain." Rythus, annoyed, disregarded Lando's remark.
L3 piloted the Millennium Falcon to support the droid rebellion. She destroyed several enemy ships before exiting the Falcon. Ascending to the top of a hill, she raised her arm, blaster in hand. Below, the droids stood their ground against the remaining stormtroopers. Inside the outpost, stormtroopers moved out to engage the droids. This created an opportunity for the rebelling Pestrusians to escape the outpost. Lando saw Kristiss get shot on the balcony. He killed the stormtroopers responsible and rushed to her aid. Although the wound was not fatal, a stormtrooper threw a thermal detonator as she stood up, but the explosion narrowly missed them. Kristiss grabbed Lando's blaster pistol and fired at a rope, causing it to loosen. She and Lando seized the rope and swung across the outpost, over the stormtroopers.

Rythus urged them to proceed to the rendezvous point, separating from Lando and L3. Lando and L3 eliminated the remaining stormtroopers and headed towards the Millennium Falcon. However, the Falcon had been seized by stormtroopers. L3-37 convinced Lando to avoid a direct assault, and they instead joined the rest of the group. An Imperial shuttle landed nearby. Kristiss' group had commandeered the shuttle to facilitate the Petrusians' escape. Lando reluctantly boarded the ship with them.
Later, L3 informed Lando that the ship was headed to Vandor. Kristiss agreed to drop Lando off there, presenting him with a box containing the credits he had earned.
One week later, Lando stood on Vandor, overlooking the Falcon from a cliff. He vowed to reclaim her, but expressed his desire to rest for a while. He suggested playing a few games of sabacc to settle his debts with Brushaun. L3 concurred, and he departed to play sabacc.
