Lando Calrissian: Idiot's Array, a short story penned by Rich Handley, was initially a Hyperspace exclusive. This tale follows Handley's prior works: Crimson Bounty, published in Star Wars Adventure Journal 14 featuring the bounty hunter Thune, and "Lady Luck" in Star Wars Tales 3, which detailed Lando's acquisition of Cloud City with Lobot's assistance. Idiot's Array sees the return of Thune, now tasked with locating Lando and Lobot due to the events of Lady Luck. Originally intended for Star Wars Gamer magazine, its publication was thwarted by the magazine's untimely cancellation. It eventually found its home on Hyperspace. Later, on October 1, 2012, it was re-released on Suvudu, a website owned by Random House.
Lando Calrissian, newly installed as the Baron Administrator of Cloud City, and Lobot, his cyborg Chief Administrative Aide, manage to evade capture by Thune, a bounty hunter. Thune was hired by Dominic Raynor, the one-time owner of the Bespin mining colony, who wants to collect on a contract due to their actions.
