Unbound Worlds logo Unbound Worlds was a website dedicated to genre fiction, established by the publishing house Random House. Initially called Suvudu, it commenced operations on July 18, 2008, before undergoing a name change in August 2016. The site showcased works from Random House imprints like Del Rey and Spectra, in addition to some stories that had their original release in Hyperspace. A total of nine short stories, which had previously appeared in Hyperspace, were later featured on the site under the banner "Star Wars Shorts." These included titles such as The Secret Journal of Doctor Demagol, Labor Pains, Interference, Precipice, Lando Calrissian: Idiot's Array, Fists of Ion, Deader than a Triton Moon, Crossroads, Shades of Gray and Knight Errant: Influx, alongside the article Essential Atlas Extra: The Knight Errant Gazetteer.
The announcement of Unbound Worlds' closure was made in November of 2018.
