Penned by John Jackson Miller, it initially appeared on StarWars.com on April 29, 2010. Later, on October 1, 2012, it was re-released via Suvudu, a website connected to the Random House publishing company.
Taking place in 3964 and 3963 BBY, The Secret Journal of Doctor Demagol commences a few weeks prior to the unexpected Mandalorian assault on the Republic. The journal details the happenings of Volumes 1 through 9 of Dark Horse Comics's Knights of the Old Republic. It tracks Antos Wyrick's recorded experiences through a helmet recorder in his Mandalorian helmet as Demagol, and later, in the helmet of Rohlan Dyre following Demagol's identity theft. The narrative of these memoirs begins around the time when the Mandalorians secured control of the Flashpoint Stellar Research Station and concludes right after Demagol's exposure. The final entry is captured by Rohlan Dyre, subsequent to his discovery of Antos's betrayal.
