Leelu, a silent and massive Humanoid operative within the Torgaigne crime family, was a male individual. He operated on the planet Attahox as the Galactic Civil War raged. Functioning as the imposing and voiceless muscle for Torgaigne gangster Vor Childermoss, Leelu accompanied Childermoss when his ship ventured into the enigmatic region of space called the Hellhoop. Their objective was to capture Rebel operatives Han Solo and Leia Organa. After entering the Hellhoop, a secluded cult of evil worshippers known as the Five seized all of them. Aboard the Five's warship, Mavin, a member of the Five, killed Leelu in a brutal manner.
Alan Moore penned the comic story The Pandora Effect, which featured Leelu, and was published in The Empire Strikes Back Monthly 151 in 1981. Adolfo Buylla provided the artwork for Leelu in this story.
