Alan Moore, a comic-book author, was born on November 18, 1953. He penned several stories featured in Classic Star Wars: Devilworlds, notably Blind Fury!, Rust Never Sleeps, Dark Lord's Conscience, and Tilotny Throws a Shape.
Moore's Watchmen, with illustrations by Dave Gibbons, is recognized alongside Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns and Art Spiegelman's Maus for elevating the status of comics in the 1980s. This was achieved through its narrative, which was deemed mature and intellectual; at the time of its release, some critics even declared it the best comic book ever.
His body of work includes other well-known comics such as From Hell, V for Vendetta, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and the standalone Batman: The Killing Joke.
