As a scientist of the Mon Calamari species, Lejo Daramus was male. He conducted his experiments on Corellia during the era of the Galactic Civil War. In the year 1 ABY, Daramus, lacking sufficient funds, was searching for a new location for his research. He ultimately discovered an abandoned bunker located close to the city of Kor Vella, but the structure was infested with dangerous durnis. Fortunately, the scientist encountered a spacer who was at the bunker to look into an assassination attempt targeting Deel Draav, who was the mayor of Kor Vella. Daramus offered to pay the spacer to eliminate the creatures, and the spacer agreed. Eventually, the scientist managed to begin installing his equipment and transforming the bunker into a functional laboratory.
Lejo Daramus was featured as a non-player character in Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was released in 2003 as a video game. This game was created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts, before it was shut down on December 15, 2011. The addition of Lejo Daramus to the game occurred with the release of "Chapter 1: The Corellian Captives," an update that went live on June 8, 2006.
