Lhojugg
title: Lhojugg
In the Hutt's town house located in Mos Eisley, a male Nimbanel named Lhojugg was employed by Jabba Desilijic Tiure. He and Mosep Binneed were cousins.
Lhojugg's unprompted investigation and his interruption of Jabba's preferred musical piece, "Talcharaim Mist-Night," angered Jabba so much that he commanded the Nimbanel be devoured by his Kayven whistlers.
Behind the scenes
Fans have speculated extensively about the appearance of Jabba's Nimbanel in What Ever Happened to Jabba the Hut? [sic] and In Mortal Combat. A widely held fan theory suggests that the Jabba depicted in these comics was actually Lhojugg pretending to be his boss. Theorists argue that the active physical role "Jabba" plays in issue 28 would make more sense if it were Mosep or Lhojugg instead of the largely immobile Jabba. Some fans also posit that Mosep/Lhojugg used "Jabba the Hut" as an alias—note that "Hutt" was initially spelled with a single T until 1980—and that other instances of "Jabba the Hut" actually refer to Mosep/Lhojugg. Abel G. Peña, a Star Wars author, has mentioned this theory on the StarWars.com forums, agreeing that it is plausible and predicting it will eventually become an official retcon. The original Star Wars Databank stated that the events in What Ever Happened to Jabba the Hut? [sic] might have occurred in some form, albeit not as portrayed in the comic. The novel Kenobi by John Jackson Miller clarifies that Lhojugg and Mosep jointly managed Jabba's Mos Eisley office, representing him to ensure Jabba was "always in" at the office. Mosep would sometimes travel under Jabba's identity, representing his interests, suggesting that the Jabba in the Marvel comics might have been Mosep.
In the A Hunter's Fate: Greedo's Tale webstrip adaptation, which takes place shortly before A New Hope, a Nimbanel wearing similar clothing to Mosep is visible in Jabba's Court. This figure could be Mosep, or possibly Lhojugg, his predecessor as Jabba's primary accountant, since Lhojugg's creator, Pablo Hidalgo, illustrated the webstrip.
