Back in 3966 BBY, the resource-rich Tarisian worlds of Jebble, Vanquo, Tarnith, and [Suurja] (/article/suurja) faced a threat from the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders. Jervo Thalien, the chairman of Lhosan Industries, collaborated with Haydel Goravvus to secure Taris's entry into the Galactic Republic. This strategic alliance was intended to protect the planet and its crucial resource systems, showcasing the significant influence wielded by the company. The endeavor proved successful, leading to the establishment of the Jebble-Vanquo-Tarnith line.
Following the Padawan Massacre in 3964 BBY, the company announced intentions to relocate its operations off-planet in search of a more secure environment. This announcement triggered widespread devastation among half of the Lower City's residents, who reacted with destructive behavior upon hearing the news. Ultimately, Goravvus intervened to thwart Thalien's plans, enabling the company to emerge as a staunch supporter of the Republic and its war efforts.
During the Siege of Taris, the company's facility located near Machineville was deserted. Basilisk war droids later occupied it before it was destroyed during the conflict. This abrupt departure from Taris caused a slowdown and disruption in their production in the subsequent months, while the Mandalorian offensive itself diminished the immediate need for their products.
