Jervo Thalien, a Skrilling male, held the position of chairman at Lhosan Industries during the time of the Mandalorian Wars.
Back in 3966 BBY, Haydel Goravvus aided Jervo in the establishment of Lhosan Industries on the planet Taris. In return for this assistance, Jervo, along with other companies on Taris, secretly bribed the Galactic Republic to grant Taris a seat within the Galactic Senate, resulting in Goravvus becoming the Senator representing the planet.
Not long before the Padawan Massacre that occurred on Taris, Jervo expressed his concerns about the growing difficulties faced by the company to Senator Goravvus of Taris, particularly regarding issues with the Black Vulkars and the lower-level criminals in the Upper City. Jervo threatened to have Lhosan withdraw from Taris entirely if they were not granted a tax break. At that moment, Zayne Carrick interrupted their discussion by falling from above. However, following the news of the Massacre, Lhosan Industries did indeed withdraw, citing what they perceived as a security risk.
After the riots started on Taris, Gorravus pursued Jervo all the way to Coruscant. However, as their arguments proved unproductive, Gorravus threatened to expose the bribery scheme, but before he could act, the Mandalorians launched an invasion of Taris, compelling Gorravus to return home and take charge of the local resistance.
As the war continued, the Supreme Chancellor grew suspicious about the ease with which Taris had gained entry into the Republic and dispatched Jedi Master Raana Tey to locate Gorravus. Fearing exposure, which could potentially lead to the dissolution of Lhosan Industries or worse, Jervo hired the Moomo Brothers to eliminate Goravvus. Knowing that Goravvus was leading the Resistance in the Lower City, Jervo sought the assistance of a lowlife familiar with the area. Upon learning that Marn Hierogryph, who had survived the bombing of Serroco, was on Chandrila, Jervo dispatched the Moomos to retrieve him, giving the Snivvian the false impression that he intended to hide Goravvus. Because Hierogryph was falsely accused along with Carrick for the Padawan Massacre, Jervo promised to drop the charges and most of the bounties placed on them. Also aware that the Chancellor had sent Tey to find the Senator, Jervo provided Hierogryph with a briefcase that functioned as a communication device capable of bypassing even jamming signals, but unbeknownst to him, it contained a bomb as a contingency in case Tey appeared.
When Carrick and Hierogryph established contact with Gorravus, Jervo ordered Del Moomo to assassinate the Senator, but Tey intervened and saved him. Consequently, Jervo activated the bomb within the briefcase. However, it malfunctioned because the blaster shot fired by Shel Jelavan overloaded the circuits. Gorravus then negotiated a deal with Jervo, committing Lhosan resources to the war effort, including his transmitter to overcome jamming signals.

Hierogryph later hatched a scheme to swindle Jervo Thalien as retribution for deceiving him back on Taris. He infiltrated Jervo's World, a vast network of swoop-dueling arenas situated above Pantolomin and owned by Lhosan Industries, using the alias "Bulgryph Mandrake," an inspector. The conman planned to exploit a slight delay in the feed from the secondary dueling arenas to place bets on the winners before the audience learned the race results. Upon discovering the Snivvian's presence on his station, Thalien became enraged, recalling the disastrous Taris operation. He instructed the Krish who managed the arena to apprehend Hierogryph and all his companions. Thalien's associate, Bardron, responded by promising to orchestrate a series of unfortunate accidents within the arena. Unbeknownst to them, Hierogryph overheard their entire conversation while concealed in a nearby maintenance shaft. During the final match, Gryph and Jarael replaced a musician's official anthem with Goethar Kleej's concluding speech, which detailed the slaving operation and Thalien's plan to eliminate the Kleejs, Gryph, and his crew. Upon hearing the speech, the crowd turned against Jervo, bombarding him with food and debris. Despite Jervo's efforts to contain the public relations disaster, he informed Chantique, a member of The Crucible slaving ring, that he intended to sever ties with them. In retaliation, Chantique strangled him to death using a long whip.
