The Liberator functioned as a Mere troop transport for the Mere Resistance in the time before the Clone Wars.
This particular transport was piloted by Kole, a Chadra-Fan mercenary, during the prison break that took place at Spacestation 1138. With an escort consisting of Nym and Adi Gallia, the Liberator successfully docked with the space station. It then extracted Captain Orsai along with his men, who had managed to escape their imprisonment and gather at the docking arm of the station. While being chased by droid starfighters, the Liberator entered hyperspace with its destination set for Maramere.
