Orsai

Captain Orsai was a Human individual of the male gender who fought with the Mere Resistance, a group led by Nym and Sol Sixxa, before the Clone Wars took place.

Biography

Prison Break

Captain Orsai, along with his soldiers, was captured by the Trade Federation and then imprisoned within the notorious Space Station 1138. During their captivity, Nym was able to acquire the necessary access codes for the space station, allowing him to free Orsai and his troops, as well as gain access to weapons for their escape. When the pirate forces got to the space station, Kole piloted the Liberator, a Mere Troop Transport, to dock with the station after the defensive laser turrets had been destroyed. Jedi Master Adi Gallia was assisted by Nym in destroying the turrets. However, the codes that Nym used to free Orsai inadvertently activated a squadron of Battle Droids, which then trapped Orsai and his men. Nym aided them in bypassing the droids by destroying an airlock at Orsai's request. Upon reaching the lift, Orsai and his men found it unusable, so they resorted to using the stairs, only to be intercepted by Neimoidian support staff, who offered minimal resistance. By the time the prisoners arrived at the escape hatch, the Liberator had successfully docked with the station, enabling Orsai and his men to board the vessel as it escaped into hyperspace under the protection of allied fighters.

Assault on Trade Federation Sensor Station

Following the liberation of the prisoners, the Mere Resistance began formulating plans for an offensive. Orsai took on the role of piloting one of two Demolition Boats, with Sol Sixxa piloting the other. These boats were loaded with explosives, with the intention of destroying the Trade Federation Sensor Station. Despite facing various challenges, including Trade Federation submarines, autoturrets, Tractor Beam Towers, and mines, both vessels successfully infiltrated the Sensor Station and achieved its destruction.

Battle of Nod Kartha

Later, during the assault on Nod Kartha, Captain Orsai assumed command of the Mere cruiser Kethor. Unfortunately, his cruiser sustained damage from one of the Orbital Defense Cannons. The hull was breached, and the hyperdrive engines were rendered inoperable. As the intense battle progressed, Orsai's crew evacuated the doomed ship via escape pods. However, despite the pleas of his allies, Orsai chose to remain on board, guiding the crippled Kethor into the shield generator, ultimately perishing in the resulting explosion. Orsai's self-sacrifice ensured the collapse of Nod Kartha's defense grid, which then led to the destruction of the trihexalon factory on the ground.

Personality and traits

Despite his human origins, Orsai was fully accepted into the Mere Resistance and proved to be a dedicated fighter. After his escape from imprisonment, he distinguished himself in combat. He showed no fear of dying for a cause that he deeply believed in.
