The Longshot, a customized Tri-Mark VII Interceptor, served as the personal starship of Meeko Ghintee.
This remarkably swift vessel, the Longshot, was originally manufactured by Elsinore-Cordova Engineering. It utilized three Elsinore-Cordova Turbodyne engines for propulsion and was equipped with a ventral concussion missile launcher, in addition to six auto-targeting dual laser cannon turrets.
Meeko stole the Longshot, previously an interceptor belonging to the Republic Security Force, after his breakout from Desolation Alley. He successfully lured the ship to the Sargesso asteroids, where he launched a surprise attack. He rammed the interceptor, forcing its surrender by breaching its hull and eliminating the life-support systems, resulting in the death of everyone on board. Following some repairs and the addition of new weaponry, Meeko claimed the ship as his own, naming it the Longshot to reflect his self-deprecating view of his chances of a successful getaway.
While being pursued by Jango Fett at the Outland Station, Meeko directed the bounty hunter to the hangar housing the Longshot. Jango followed, trapping Meeko, who sought protection within his ship. Jango engaged the criminal from outside the vessel, systematically destroying all of its offensive capabilities. The Longshot was rendered inoperable, leading to Meeko's capture and subsequent journey back to Oovo IV.
