Lover Gods

The Lover Gods, Yun-Q'aah and Yun-Txiin, constituted a duo of divinities worshipped by the Yuuzhan Vong. Within the Yuuzhan Vong culture, it was strictly prohibited to engage in romantic relationships with individuals from different social classes; violation of this rule invariably resulted in being offered as a sacrifice to these deities. The priests who served them were called Apostles of the Undying Flame.
