Luke Skywalker once constructed a lightsaber shoto with a red blade during the time of the Nagai–Tof War. He did this to fight against the Dark Lady Lumiya and her unique lightwhip on the planet Kinooine.
The shoto's construction involved materials sourced from an Iskalonian Stinger, including its power pack. Before the events of the Second Battle of Endor, Luke employed the shoto in lightsaber training exercises, utilizing three Marksman-H combat remotes.
During the Battle of Iskalon, Lando wielded the shoto underwater to destroy the Nagai's tower. Luke also used his shoto during the Battle of Zeltros.
Decades afterwards, Luke would again use it to engage Lumiya in combat during the Battle of Gilatter VIII, while his twin sister, Leia Organa Solo, fought Alema Rar.
