Prince Lumon, a male Themian of note, reigned as the leader of the Inner Rim planet of Themis during the era known as the Clone Wars.
During the Clone Wars conflict, Prince Lumon played host to both Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, along with Separatist Duchess Thax, for discussions concerning the volatile ore found on Themis's moon. Both factions sought Lumon's approval to exploit the moon mines and its valuable ore, a potential game-changer as a power source. As the negotiations dragged on, Lumon became increasingly frustrated by the constant arguing between Kenobi and Thax, ultimately leading him to dismiss them both.
Later, Kenobi's [starfighter](/article/obi-wan_kenobi%27s_delta-7b_aethersprite-class_light_interceptor-legends] malfunctioned due to sabotage orchestrated by Thax's agent under the Duchess's orders, causing him to lose control. Lumon immediately jumped to the conclusion that Kenobi was attempting to coerce him by threatening to destroy the moon and Themis itself. Despite Skywalker's desperate attempts to assure Lumon that his former [Master](/article/jedi_master-legends] would never resort to such tactics, Lumon remained unconvinced. Simultaneously, Thax continued her efforts to undermine the Jedi's reputation in the Prince's eyes, portraying them as dangerous fanatics willing to sacrifice themselves and the Themian population for their cause. Lumon gave Skywalker a mere ten minutes to stop Kenobi; failure to do so would result in his order for the fleet to destroy Kenobi's [fighter](/article/starfighter-legends]. However, before Lumon could act on his threat, Kenobi requested Admiral Andor of the Themian Fleet to target his own craft, much to the officer's astonishment.
Returning to Lumon's throne room, a unharmed Kenobi presented the Prince with proof of Thax's betrayal: a component from the droid responsible for sabotaging his fighter. Furthermore, to force the true culprit to reveal themselves, he feigned knowledge, claiming that the Force could identify the individual who planted the droid. Driven by fear of Kenobi's supposed psychic abilities, Thax's agent confessed to the sabotage, admitting that he acted under the Duchess's command. With her treachery exposed, Thax threatened to kill Lumon if Kenobi attempted to approach her. Skywalker intervened just in time, disarming the Duchess with his lightsaber. Consequently, Lumon decided to align his planet with the Republic and banished Thax from his world.
Lumon's initial appearance was in the 2011 short comic story titled Runaway Starfighter, which debuted in Star Wars: The Clone Wars Comic UK 6.24. The story was penned by Mike W. Barr and illustrated by Andres Ponce.
