Luther De'Ono, a scientist of the Human male variety, was stationed at ExGal-4 on Belkadan around 25 ABY.
During an investigation of an approaching storm, Luther, along with Tee-ubo Doole, Bendodi Ballow-Reese, and Jerem Cadmir, unexpectedly encountered highly toxic vapors. Unbeknownst to them, these fumes were dispersed by dweebits, strategically placed by the Yuuzhan Vong agent Yomin Carr. In a moment of sacrifice, Ballow-Reese passed his oxygen supply to Jerem Cadmir and retreated behind foliage to meet his end. Luther attempted to dissuade him, but instead received a blaster shot to the chest from Ballow-Reese, who then took his own life.
