MacDougal, also known as "Black Jack" MacDougal, was a Binayre pirate who made his home in the Corellian system during the era of the Galactic Civil War. During 1 ABY, forces of the Galactic Empire under the command of Imperial officer Ceth Laike launched a series of attacks targeting the Binayre Pirates as retribution for the assassination of a TIE pilot on the planet Talus. Following several engagements on both Talus and Corellia, Imperial pilots engaged a group of Binayre pirates within Corellian space. This pirate group consisted of five starfighters, one of which was an M12-L Kimogila heavy fighter piloted by the squadron leader known as "Black Jack" MacDougal. In the battle that followed, all of the pirate ships were destroyed, resulting in MacDougal's death.
MacDougal made an appearance in Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, the 2003 video game which was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, before it was shut down on December 15, 2011. The character "Black Jack" MacDougal was integrated into the game through the Publish 14.1 update, released on March 24, 2005.
