Mace Windu's TX-130 Saber-class fighter tank

This unique TX-130 Saber-class fighter tank, distinguished by its purple coloring and also known as a Jedi fighter tank, was a highly agile and rapid hovertank utilized by High Jedi General Mace Windu throughout the Clone Wars conflict.

Characteristics

The Jedi's signature purple hue marked the TX-130 Saber-class fighter tank that High Jedi General Mace Windu commanded. While typical Republic fighter tanks required a clone trooper pilot, a copilot, and a gunner, Mace Windu's tank's exceptional speed and agility were effectively managed by the Jedi Master's Force-enhanced abilities, negating the need for additional clone crew members.

Equipped with a turret-mounted laser cannon and a pair of heavy cannons capable of launching concussion missiles, the tank also featured an integrated R2-series astromech droid and shield capabilities surpassing those of most other fighter tanks.

History

During the First Battle of Geonosis, Dark Acolytes, numbering three, targeted Mace Windu's fighter tank as he advanced towards Count Dooku's hangar, intending to confront the Sith Lord. Although they inflicted significant damage, he successfully breached their defenses, overwhelming and eliminating them.

The tank saw further action during the Battle of Thule, where Mace Windu led ground troops near Thule's primary city, Kesiak. Subsequently, a Dreadnought battle tank, under the control of Cydon Prax, appeared and destroyed the Jedi fighter tank, compelling Windu to continue his mission on foot.
