Lady Maglenna Pendower, a Human female, held a position as a minor assistant to Princess Leia Organa within the Imperial Senate. She played a role in introducing the Ho'Din Spero to the Princess. Subsequently, following Organa's directives, she escorted him to Hindred to secure a safe location for the Master Gardener. Her role as an aide gave her opportunities to engage with the personnel of other senators, which allowed her to gather intelligence regarding the clandestine operations of other government officials. Although she desired a more active role in the field, Leia found her more useful as a decoy, diverting attention, disseminating misinformation, and concealing the activities of others while they were away.
Originally from Alderaan, Maglenna suffered the loss of her father and one of her brothers when the planet was destroyed. Despite extensive efforts, she was unsuccessful in determining whether her remaining brother was off-world or locating him.
Driven by the hope of eventually being assigned to field duty, she enrolled in the Alliance combat medical training program. Despite graduating at the top of her class, Leia deemed Maglenna too valuable to risk in combat and reassigned her to Ordnance and Supply Command.
While serving under Colonel Arik Stijhl on Gelgelar at Drop Point: Gelgelar, she was present during a supply review with the crew of The Maker. It was at this time that the technician Morgan Q. Raventhorn was wounded by the assassin droid known as the Doom Slayer. She administered a defib strip and a pressure resuscitator to revive Morgan. Following the assassin droid's attack on the warehouse, she assisted in the evacuation of the drop point and aided Ivhin Jayme in destroying the droid. After the successful evacuation of everyone, she was transferred to Alliance Special Forces at the request of T'Charek Haathi.
