Maizie's, a tapcafe situated on the world of Mandrine, served as the meeting place for Captain Scarlet Bloodhawk and various individuals. These individuals included Kelly Vermillion, Tyric, Nana, Red, Justice and Truth. As Scarlet conversed with Kelly and his associates, Kronus, a criminal, barged into the establishment accompanied by his henchmen, instigating a violent altercation. In the midst of this conflict, Kronus met his demise due to the detonation of a thermal detonator. The detonator had been dislodged from a deceased member of his crew, all of whom perished. The aftermath left Maizie's in disarray for several weeks.
