The Malkhanis, a bellicose group among many others on Crucival, experienced a period of dominance under the command of their Warlord, Malkhan. Around 6 BBY, their position was momentarily challenged by a rival faction after the Malkhanis seized a quarry, signaling intentions for expansion. However, their reign ended swiftly; less than two years after this event, Malkhan's death triggered infighting as lieutenants vied for control of his hidden arsenal of weaponry obtained from off-world sources. Ultimately, the Opaline Creed supplanted them.
