Master Shaper Mezhan Kwaad A Master Shaper denoted a specific rank within the Shaper caste. Upon an adept's escalation to the Master level, a significant ritual took place: they would relinquish either one or both of their natural hands, replacing them with specialized Shaper hands. Furthermore, Masters gained authorization to access the sixth and seventh cortexes, which contained advanced Shaping protocols. A notable restriction imposed on Master Shapers was the inability to procreate; they were expected to transcend physical desires and were therefore forbidden from taking partners. Distinctive full-body coverings known as oozhiths also identified Master Shapers. Examples of individuals who achieved the status of Master Shaper include Mezhan Kwaad and Nagme.
More than one hundred years following the conclusion of the Yuuzhan Vong War, Nei Rin occupied the position of Master Shaper. She endeavored to employ her unique skills in an effort to revitalize both the worlds devastated during the conflict and to rehabilitate the Vong's standing through the Ossus Project.
