Nagme, a Master Shaper of the Yuuzhan Vong species, was a female. She was stationed on Dibrook at the onset of the Yuuzhan Vong War, where she was in the process of interrogating Yuledan. Her duties involved transforming individuals from across the galaxy into monstrous beings for military purposes, although their effectiveness was limited. She engaged in a prohibited affair with Tsalok at some point. Furthermore, she indicated that a significant portion of her activities on Dibrook were unauthorized, notably her scheme targeting the Jedi.
Tsalok eventually arrived on Dibrook to personally interrogate the Jedi. During this time, a substantial force consisting of refugees and a New Republic garrison arrived to rescue the refugees held captive in her laboratory. Tsalok emphasized the critical importance of Nagme, the Yammosk, and the Jedi Yuledan, leading to their evacuation. After receiving a message from Warmaster Tsavong Lah, it was discovered that one of Nagme's shapers was acting as an informant for Lah.
Nagme was instructed by Tsalok to dispatch any shapers she deemed untrustworthy to fight alongside the warriors against the approaching army. Although Nagme desired to bring subjects for her experiments with her, she was forced to contain and poison them as they escaped to Rychel. There, she would operate under Tsalok's supervision.
