The MedStar Duology, authored by Michael Reaves together with Steve Perry, is a series of novels. This duology, which unfolds in 20 BBY, centers its narrative around a Republic Mobile Surgical Unit operating at the forefront of the Clone Wars, where Barriss Offee finds herself stationed. The two novels comprising this duology, MedStar I: Battle Surgeons and MedStar II: Jedi Healer, both saw their release in the year 2004.
Reaves and Perry also penned the short story "MedStar: Intermezzo", which bridges the gap between the two novels and was published in August of 2005. The Science Fiction Book Club released a hardcover omnibus, combining both novels into a single book.
