Melarra was a Pilot of the Human female persuasion. She lived during the time of the renewed conflict between the Galactic Republic and the resurgent Sith Empire.
In the year 3639 BBY, Doctor Sannus Lorrick employed Melarra to transport cargo from his base located on Ord Mantell to the planet Kaon within the Tion Hegemony. Unbeknownst to Melarra, she was one of five pilots utilized by Lorrick to disseminate the Rakghoul plague across the worlds of the Hegemony. Upon the landing of Melarra's shuttle on Kaon, rakghouls emerged from the cargo hold, instigating the outbreak. Melarra, fortunately, evaded infection and remained concealed at the spaceport for several days amidst the surrounding chaos. When a group arrived to investigate the origin of the outbreak, Melarra emerged from her hiding place and revealed all she knew about Lorrick, requesting her freedom in return for the information.
