Meor Ain

Meor Ain was a location situated within the galaxy. At this location, Dex Acquisitions maintained a functional depot. The Rebel Alliance orchestrated the rescue of Tunga Arpagion from this very depot.

Description

The terrain of Meor Ain was characterized by a purple rocky surface, marked by numerous ridges and cracks. The sky above was filled with smoke plumes rising from openings in the ground. A substantial celestial object was a prominent feature on the horizon of Meor Ain.

History

Sometime following the Battle of Yavin, Princess Leia Organa, accompanied by her rebel team, journeyed to Meor Ain. Their mission was to enlist the aid of shapeshifter Tunga Arpagion in a scheme to abduct Tan Hubi, the Imperial Moff governing the Calamari sector. Hubi's bio-signature was essential for gaining entry to the prison where Mon Calamari King Lee-Char was being held. To gain access to Arpagion's holding cell within the Dex Acquisitions Depot, Leia devised a plan. She had the Wookiee Chewbacca act as a bounty hunter who had apprehended her. Upon hearing this ruse, Arty-Ba, the leader of the depot, instructed their colleague to escort Organa to the high-security cells. Chewbacca then incapacitated both depot employees by throwing them against a wall, rendering them unconscious. Subsequently, Han Solo and Luke Skywalker used a breaching torpedo to blast their way into the brig, freeing Arpagion from his confinement. The group then departed aboard the Millennium Falcon.
