Tan Hubi, a human of the male variety, held the position of Imperial Moff within the Calamari sector. To facilitate the liberation of King Lee-Char from his imprisonment, Leia Organa and her team devised a scheme to abduct Hubi. Their intention was to utilize his unique bio-signature to gain entry into the King's prison facility located on Strokill Prime. Unfortunately, Hubi met his death accidentally due to friendly fire from stormtroopers after he triggered an alarm from Lee-Char's cell while the rebels were recording the king's final message to his people. At a later point, Regent Dors Urtya received notification that Hubi's successor had not yet been appointed, and that Imperial forces were growing wary of possible rebel operations within the sector.
