Mestral
Mestral was a Twi'lek female dancer who existed during the time of the Galactic Civil War. Following the Battle of Yavin, she became a member of a band that gave performances in the Bright Jewel system. This band also featured another dancer called O'choa Detera, along with three musicians, named Alisia, Alitra, and Mako. During this period, the band frequently entertained the customers of the cantinas located at Tansarii Point Station and Nova Orion Station, which were two space station situated close to the planet Ord Mantell within the Bright Jewel system, by playing music and dancing.
Behind the scenes
Mestral appeared as a non-player character in the video game Star Wars Galaxies from 2003, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game. This game was created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts before it was shut down on December 15, 2011. Mestral and her band were integrated into the game as part of the "New Player Tutorial," which was introduced with the launch of "Publish 25," also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005. The band was showcased in the cantina of Tansarii Point Station within the "New Player Tutorial." With the release of "Chapter 8," on January 15, 2008, Mestral and her band were also added to the cantina in the Nova Orion Station.
