A female Mandalorian warrior named Mirli Lok existed during the time of the third Galactic War. Mirli was a survivor of the near annihilation of Clan Lok at the hands of the Eternal Empire during the Eternal Empire conquest, an event that also resulted in the death of Mandalore the Vindicated. Following this devastating loss, Mirli and the surviving members of her clan initially joined the ranks of the dozen clans led by the new Mand'alor, Mandalore the Avenger. However, Mirli became increasingly dissatisfied with the Mandalore's leadership, ultimately deciding that following her was not in the best interest of herself or her clan. As the clans prepared for the Raid on Darvannis, Mirli and her followers deserted them, seeking refuge on the world of Onderon. This act resulted in them being branded as dar'manda by the remaining Mandalorians.
Under an agreement with King [Regalun Petryph](/article/regalun_petryph], the current ruler of Onderon, Mirli and her followers went on to establish the Ash'ad. Consequently, members of her group were frequently seen at the Royal Hunting Lodge. However, the onset of the new galactic war brought significant changes to their situation. During the Mission to Onderon, Mand'alor discovered their location and dispatched her forces to the city of Iziz. Mandalore subsequently tasked the Alliance Commander with hunting down the Ash'ad within the jungles of Onderon. The Outlander eventually located them, and in a subsequent attack on their camp, Mirli and her followers were killed. Their Mandalorian armor sets were then stripped from their bodies, serving as a clear message to the clans that Mandalore the Avenger would not tolerate those she considered to be traitors or cowards who dared to identify as Mandalorian.
Mirli's Mandalorian armor was a dark green and brown color scheme, complete with bone plating, closely resembling the style of the Mandalorian Crusaders. She carried a beskad and her armor was equipped with integrated weaponry, including carbonite freezing capabilities, retractable wrist blades, and various other gadgets.
