The planet of Darvannis was attacked by the Mandalorians in what became known as the raid on Darvannis. This event transpired in 3630 BBY as part of the Alliance's campaign during the war against Zakuul. Following the revelation by SCORPIO that the GEMINI droids originated from a singular prototype, GEMINI Prime, located within the Darvannis factory, the Alliance's leaders resolved to secure it, despite lacking the necessary strength for a full-scale invasion. Theron Shan then called upon Shae Vizla, who was now known as Mandalore the Avenger, for assistance. However, a splinter group of Mandalorians, led by Mirli Lok, defected from the Clans to establish the Ash'ad. The Alliance Commander journeyed to Darvannis, where Vizla's Mandalorian forces were eager to both avenge themselves on the Eternal Empire and replenish their armaments with the factory's resources. Torian Cadera, Mandalore's top scout, partnered with the Commander to seize control of the perimeter's artillery and reconfigure it to target the weapons manufacturing facility, while Breyer Chorn and his contingent disabled the factory's protective shield generator. Subsequently, Vizla informed the Commander that combat operations would resume the following day to allow her troops to recuperate. The subsequent morning saw Torian collaborating once more with the Commander to neutralize the enemy forces stationed at the Zakuulan listening post, as Shae Vizla and her second-in-command, Khomo Fett, spearheaded the assault on the factory's power supply hubs in preparation for the main offensive. With Clan Beroya and Clan Fett warriors having seized control of the factory's power stations, Shae Vizla gathered her warriors to inspire them before guiding them into the factory to amass as many weapons as possible, while Torian accompanied the Commander on a mission to secure the GEMINI Prime. The Commander successfully extracted the droid from its containment unit, after which the Mandalorians withdrew from the factory. In the wake of the conflict, Torian requested that Mandalore represent them within the Alliance, a proposition Vizla approved, leading him and the Alliance Commander to travel to the Alliance base on Odessen.
During the Eternal Empire conquest of the galaxy, Mandalore the Vindicated perished in battle, resulting in the Star Fortresses blockading numerous Core Worlds, which trapped nearly half of the Mandalorian clans on those planets. With the remaining clans scattered, Shae Vizla ascended to the position of the new Mandalore. In 3630 BBY, Theron Shan, representing the Alliance opposing Zakuul, contacted Vizla, presenting the clans with an opportunity to retaliate against the Eternal Empire by launching an assault on the weapons factory situated on Darvannis. This factory produced starships, weaponry, skytrooper droid units, and possessed comprehensive automated defenses, including subterranean tunnels extending kilometers deep, energy shielding, defensive turrets, and anti-infantry ground-based cannons. The Alliance's objective in this operation was to acquire GEMINI Prime, the template for the GEMINI droids, which held the potential to seize control of Emperor Arcann's Eternal Fleet. Vizla accepted the offer, recognizing it as both a chance for retribution and a means for the Mandalorian clans to replenish their armaments for the first time in several years.

Having gathered a dozen clans, including Fett, Chorn, Beroya, Cadera, and Farr, Vizla led them to Darvannis, accompanied by Khomo Fett as her trusted lieutenant. Establishing a base camp beyond the range of the factory's artillery, the Mandalorians initiated a siege, deploying rotating assault teams of two hundred commandos each around the perimeter and dispatching reconnaissance units to assess the factory's defensive capabilities. Shae Vizla and Khomo Fett were soon joined by the Alliance Commander, who arrived to provide assistance in the assault and personally retrieve the GEMINI Prime. Vizla paired the newcomer with her most skilled scout, Torian Cadera, tasking them with capturing the perimeter's defense guns and reprogramming them to target the factory itself. Concurrently, forward units led by Valk Beroya and Breyer Chorn advanced to disable the factory's energy shield generators. The factory's perimeter was patrolled by both skytrooper forces and Eternal Empire Walkers, which Torian and the Commander encountered while approaching the guns in sector nine, while Valk Beroya fought her way through sector four, suffering casualties along the way.

After losing Hashar and a dozen other warriors, [Clan Chorn](/article/clan_chorn]'s forces reached the shield generators and planted explosives. However, the remaining warriors were flanked by skytroopers and unable to retreat, holding their ground as the detonations brought down the factory's shields. Breyer Chorn then contacted Torian Cadera, authorizing him to fire the factory's guns at their position, preferring to die in an artillery strike rather than be captured by machines. Torian initially agreed, but the Alliance Commander intervened and ordered Torian to retarget the guns, providing Chorn and his forces with an escape route. In the end, that assault wave cost the lives of twenty-eight warriors, but the factory's shields were deactivated, and the inner ring of defenses sustained significant damage. As the day drew to a close, the Mandalorians held a Kote ky'ram Death Ceremony for their fallen comrades, while celebrating their survival during the night.

The following morning, Vizla dispatched Clans Beroya and Fett to seize the factory's north and south power stations, respectively, to weaken the skytrooper forces in preparation for the final assault. When Torian noted that this exposed air and sniper units at the Zakuulan tactical post, potentially outmaneuvering the clans, the Commander volunteered to distract the droids long enough for the Mandalorians to reach the power station, with Torian joining them once more. Vizla and Fett personally led this assault, during which Valk Beroya's team lost Yenko Farr and his three sisters. Torian and the Alliance Commander successfully contained the droids, and after both power stations were disabled, Vizla requested that they shut down the factory's perimeter sensors to cover their retreat. Torian oversaw reinforcements while the Commander deactivated the sensors, after which Lana Beniko made an unexpected call, providing the Commander with detailed schematics of the factory obtained by Theron Shan, to facilitate better assault planning.

Prepared to enter the factory, Vizla shared her battle plan with the Alliance Commander, who enhanced it with the factory schematics. Vizla delivered a rousing speech to her warriors and led the assault herself, entrusting the Commander and Torian Cadera with retrieving the GEMINI Prime. Inside the factory, Khomo Fett led the warriors to the armory, while Jos Beroya's men ambushed the security office, and Dalash Ard decimated the skytrooper assault force with ion bombs. The schematics guided Khomo and his warriors directly to the armory, where they acquired two dozen plasma cannons and proceeded to assist the Mandalore, while Valk Beroya targeted the factory's main reactor, despite being reduced to only three warriors at this point. Meanwhile, Torian and the Commander encountered and defeated skytrooper ZT-001D, after which several hundred skytroopers were deployed to their location to protect the GEMINI Prime. Torian volunteered to hold them off, while the Commander located the Prime and extracted the droid from its alcove, disabling it. With the template unit secured, the Mandalorians successfully acquired a substantial quantity of weapons and inflicted sufficient damage to the factory before Vizla ordered an organized retreat.
By the end of the day, the factory remained standing but was largely inoperable, while the Mandalorians had seized enough plunder to re-arm themselves. In the aftermath of their victory, Khomo Fett and the other warriors experienced a renewed fervor for battle, which concerned Mandalore, who feared that the pursuit of glory would lead the clans into conflict prematurely. The Commander persuaded her to channel their bloodlust appropriately, and Vizla granted Torian's request to join the Alliance as her representative. The Commander and Torian returned to Odessen, where SCORPIO analyzed the GEMINI Prime and determined that by connecting the Prime to the captain's console on any warship within the Eternal Fleet, she could seize control of the entire GEMINI network, and consequently, the Eternal Fleet itself. Identifying a solitary warship scheduled to recharge its hyperdrive as their target, the Alliance leadership moved to intercept it. Shae Vizla herself later traveled to the Alliance base on Odessen, formally committing her strength and that of her warriors to the Alliance's cause. The Mandalorians, under the leadership of Torian Cadera, would subsequently participate in the liberation of Voss and defend the Alliance base during Vaylin's assault on Odessen.
During Star Wars: The Old Republic: Knights of the Fallen Empire Chapter XIV: Mandalore the Avenger, the player encounters three significant choices. The first involves deciding whether to permit Torian Cadera to launch an artillery strike on [Breyer Chorn](/article/breyer_chorn] and his forces, with the Light Side option prohibiting him, the Dark Side option encouraging him, or a neutral option deferring the decision to Torian, which earns his approval but results in him firing the guns anyway, killing Chorn and his men. The second decision concerns whether to share factory schematics with Shae Vizla before the assault, with the Light Side option leading to a Mandalorian victory and the Dark Side option resulting in their defeat, with numerous warriors, including Dalash Ard, perishing while navigating the labyrinthine factory tunnels, and the survivors being too few to carry a sufficient quantity of weapons. In the aftermath, if the battle resulted in victory, the player can respond to Vizla's concerns with a Light Side option encouraging her to prevent the clans from perpetually seeking new conflicts, a Dark Side option encouraging her to attack the player's opposing faction (either the Sith Empire or the Galactic Republic), or a neutral offer to replace Zakuul's skytroopers after the war concludes. If the Mandalorians suffered a defeat, the player can respond with a Light Side option by sharing responsibility for it and offering Alliance resources and manpower to bolster the clans, a Dark Side option to further undermine Mandalore the Avenger in the presence of her warriors, or a neutral option asserting that the losses were necessary to defeat Zakuul.
