GEMINI Prime represented a sophisticated droid model, crafted by the species responsible for constructing the artificial planet known as Iokath. This Prime droid served as the foundational blueprint for the creation of the GEMINI droid series. These GEMINI droids were subsequently integrated as the captains overseeing the warships of the Eternal Fleet. In a manner consistent with the other droids originating from Iokath, the GEMINI units ultimately betrayed and annihilated their creators. However, they were forced into Wild Space with their memory cores secured, where they remained adrift for millennia. Their isolation ended when they were discovered by the Eternal Empire of Zakuul. GEMINI Prime was stationed within a factory situated on the Darvannis planet. There, its purpose was to manufacture additional GEMINI units until the Alliance launched a raided on the installation and successfully seized GEMINI Prime. The Alliance intended to deploy the Prime as a weapon against the Eternal Fleet by embedding it within one of the Fleet's vessels. However, this strategy was thwarted by SCORPIO, another creation of Iokath, who disabled GEMINI Prime, rendering it non-responsive.
