Mission to Anzat
After Jedi Master Quinlan Vos returned with intelligence indicating Sora Bulq's multiple excursions to Anzat, the Jedi became suspicious, leading to a mission to Anzat. Master Tholme, feeling obligated to participate, joined forces with Jedi Knight Aayla Secura and her accompanying forces.
The mission
Upon their arrival on Anzat, Tholme sought out Akku Seii, his former mentor, while Secura set out to investigate Bulq's activities on the planet. Tholme, after locating Seii, inquired about the reason for Sora Bulq's frequent visits to Anzat. However, the Anzati Code of Honor prohibited Seii from revealing any details regarding contracts or assassinations. Suddenly, Tholme was ambushed by several Anzati assassins. The Jedi Master defended himself, carefully avoiding any fatal blows. After subduing the assassins, Tholme observed that all of them were students of Akku Seii. He found this peculiar, as tradition dictated that each teacher only instruct a single student. When he brought this up, Seii explained to the Jedi that there were no other instructors available.
In the meantime, Aayla headed to Maggot's Cantina, searching for someone who could provide assistance. There, a Houk named Gort informed her about seeing Bulq and directed Secura to his location. Aayla proceeded to the designated place, where she discovered Bulq's ship. Secura infiltrated the ship and downloaded its logs. As she was leaving the vessel, a Morgukai assassin attacked her, but the Jedi swiftly defeated the attacker. Subsequently, Bulq appeared, accompanied by Rath Kelkko and other Confederacy beings, discussing their schemes involving the Anzati teachers and the Morgukai.
Tholme and Secura met back at their ship and, after analyzing the ship's logs, noticed the Dark Jedi often visited Saleucami. After learning this information, they surmised that Bulq might have a base of operations on the planet. The Jedi decided to separate, with Aayla heading to Trigalis as per her orders, and Tholme traveling to Saleucami.
