The Chandrila Mission was undertaken by the Jedi Knight Jaden Korr in the year 14 ABY during the time of the Disciples of Ragnos crisis. A Sith cult known as the Disciples of Ragnos made an attempt to draw Force energy from the tomb belonging to the Jedi Order's third Barsen'thor located on Chandrila.
After discovering the tomb of the Barsen'thor and the immense Force aura it possessed, Tavion Axmis, who led the cult, dispatched her Cultists, supported by mercenaries, to sneak into the tomb, securing it in preparation for her arrival. The Cultists attacked the sanctuary and forced open the Jedi's coffin, opening it up for their leader's plans. They then took up positions inside the large underground catacomb, securing vital locations as they awaited Axmis' arrival to begin the process of extracting Force energy.
Having received information about the cult's actions, Jaden Korr arrived at the tomb and started his investigation. Finding his access to the tomb blocked by large rocks, he used the Force to move them aside, inadvertently killing a mercenary who was standing on the balcony in front of the entrance. Korr proceeded through the tomb, engaging and eliminating both mercenaries and cultists. Attempts were made to destroy bridges within the tomb to hinder Korr's progress, but he overcame these obstacles, defeating more cult members as he advanced towards the burial chamber. Upon arriving at the chamber, Korr encountered a New Reborn who was wielding a saberstaff. The two engaged in a duel, with Korr ultimately winning. He then resealed the casket, allowing the deceased Jedi to rest peacefully once more. However, this action caused the burial chamber to start collapsing. Korr managed to escape from the sanctuary, while the remaining cultists perished in the destruction of the Jedi's tomb.
The Chandrila Mission was one of two missions featured in the Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy demo; the other was Mission to Mos Eisley.
